LoneLady

Spanning influences such as post-punk, electronic and pop Julie Campbell, A.K.A LoneLady, is a solo singer, songwriter and producer from Manchester.
Co-produced with Guy Fixsen, her starkly urgent debut album 'Nerve Up' was recorded in a mill in Manchester, and released on Warp in 2010. Inspired by psychogeography, Campbell’s second album \”Hinterland\” was released in 2015, and shows electronic and funk influences coming to the fore. Campbell wrote, recorded and mixed ''Hinterland'' in her home studio before adding finishing touches with co-producer, Bill Skibbe in a studio in Michigan.
Julie Campbell plays guitar, bass, keyboards, drumpads, samplers/electronics, cello and is the vocalist. Live, LoneLady play as a 4-piece. Andrew Cheetham is the drummer on both studio albums.
