Xingu Indians, whose teachings were so important to me
during the time I spent with them in the Amazon jungle:
The sound of the jungle, its color and mysteries;
the sun, the moon, the rain and the winds; the river
and the fish, the sky and the birds, but most of all
the integration of musician, music and instrument
into an undivided whole.
