A limited vinyl edition (300) of one of the great Manchester albums. The Montgolfier Brothers (Mark Tranmer & Roger Quigley) released the classic 'Seventeen Stars' on their Vespertine label in 1999. Critical acclaim led to a re-release on musical dynamo Alan McGee's nascent post-Creation Poptones label in 2000. Long deleted on vinyl, and to mark the Poptones release Caroline True have remastered this brilliant work for vinyl and revisited the original artwork for a new audience of appreciative and discerning listeners. Beautiful, memorable, fragile... An album that proves the longevity of great songwriting and tunes that stay with you.
