Special tour edition on black vinyl in a specially printed disco bag. Automaton from Athens, Greece is a loud and heavy doom act, but apart from slow tempi and down-tuned guitars, the band also blends heavy riffs, repetitive minimalistic patterns, psychedelia and space into its own, vintage, analogue recording sound. 'Echoes Of Mount Ida' was originally released in 2013 as a 3-track, 32-minute CDEP. Now a remixed version appears on vinyl, offering 4 tracks, including 'Fear', a monster track full of monolithic riffs built up on colossal heavy layers. This one was recorded with a special guest appearance of brother Dr. Space a.k.a. Scott from the amazing Oresund Space Collective.
