Een Burkinese urban griot (zanger en multi-instrumentalist Kaito Winse) ontmoet een Brussels noise punk duo. Een nieuwe legering die zowel traditionele als futuristische kennis deconstrueert. Een mysterieuze matrix die ongelijksoortige (maar vreemd verenigbare) sonische lijnen echoot: diepe griot tradities, Fugazi, Can, 70s Zappa, Black Midi, de rush van Nyege Nyege Tapes. Avalanche Kaito herdefinieert de orale traditie, terwijl ze op hun debuutalbum een sprong maken in een futuristische chaos van noise, waarin de orale tradities van de West-Afrikaanse griot samenkomen met Belgische post-punk.
