Originally released privately in the Washington DC area in themid-'80s and now finally reissued (with bonus tracks), DaleJenkins' 'Undesirable Elements' is a desolate and deconstructedalbum which touches on the subtleties and extremes of the humancondition. The songs are constructed with gnarled bits ofproto-punk via abrasive, fuzzed guitars, and refracted mutantstrains of British post-punk through a distinctly Americanunderbelly sensibility.
