D�mmerfarben play poetic, nature-inspired folk/black metal that stands apart from the mainstream due to its focus on sophisticated melancholic and sometimes romantic instrumental parts. Mastermind Nostarion is a professional musician who, besides guitar, plays cello, violin, lute and various other instruments since his childhood. This education provideshim not only with remarkable prowess on his chosen instruments but shows in his excellent songwriting abilities. 'Des Herbstes Trauerhymnen MMXX' is a complete re-recording of the band's 2006 demo with two previously unreleased songs, featuring Austin Lunn (Panopticon) on drums. The CD comes as collector's edition in 4-panel digipack with 8-page booklet, limited to 500copies.
