Electric Octopus

'Vibe Factory' is another gem out of Electric Octopus' back catalog. The trio from Northern Ireland is known for their unconventional use of rhythms and musical styles. It's the free flowing approach that makes the band so interesting - all based on improvised jamming and freeform exploration. Pressed by the band in a very small edition on CD in 2016, the album is now being released for the first time on vinyl by Adansonia Records. 'Vibe Factory', which could also be a synonym for Electric Octopus itself, contains three psychedelic jams which were recorded in the studio. As always there is a lot of variety in their jams, but the band always manages to keep the prevailing soundscape catchy and motivating and not get lost in the nowhere. Electric Octopus take up elements of blues rock as well as eclectic jazz themes, combine them with captivating funk licks and build up a gripping, inspiring atmosphere.Limited to 275 copies on black vinyl.
