In March 2009 Blue Dream achieved the highest ranking in the history of the NAR International Radio Charts. Fiona has been a finalist in over 32 Indie Artist Awards across 9 countries, and in 2006 Won' Best Piano Album' NAR Lifestyle Music Awards for Angel Above my Piano, 2007 won ' Best Dance Dub/Club Album' for ICE - Piano Slightly Chilled. In 2008 she won a MusicOZ Award for Best Classical/Jazz Artist and is currently an ARIA Finalist in her home country Australia with Blue Dream for Best World Music Album.

Blue Dream is a 68-minute suite of music written by Australian composer and pianist Fiona Joy Hawkins, produced by Grammy winner Will Ackerman (founder of Windham Hill Records) and recorded at Imaginary Road Studios on a Steinway. Featuring guest performances by Luka Bloom, this album goes from quiet contemplative piano to full orchestral, to world sounds, rhythms, jazz influences and back again to the perfect "Bach" moment - all in a breath. Blue Dream crosses from contemporary classical to world fusion, jazz and new age.
