Forkupines

Is the long-awaited debut full length that seems destined to mark the breakthrough for FORKUPINES. The eleven songs found on "Here, away from" are just that strong. Influenced by punk, post hardcore, pop and emo, the band shows an extremely effective and convincing diversity. Were mixtapes still a thing, tracks such as the pop pearl "The Good Fight", the midtempo smasher "By the Sea" or the perfect last dance "Stay the Night" would be given away with a beating heart frequently this summer. Whether "Here, Away From" will prove to open the big doors for the band or not has to be seen. The fact remains that FORKUPINES deliver a damn strong album that deserves to be heard, loved, and celebrated.
