Re-Issue, +1Bonus Track , Remastered)Celebrating the 30th anniversary from first release in 1992. Born in the Swiss Alps from the Phoenix ashes of Rock band OXIDO "Breaking Down the Walls".Recorded at the "New Century Media Studios" in Hollywood California, under the supervision of Producer giant "Pat Regan"(Kiss, Quit Riot, Doro, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Harlow, Shotgun Messiah, Deep Purple, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Helloween, Keel, Mr. Big, Warrant, Gotthard, etc.)"Mayday" is a fine piece of goodtime AOR in the vein of all great Rock n Roll from the 80s and early 90s, with plenty of sing-along choruses and a good dose of keyboards. Opener, "Ticket 2 Heaven" is probably the heaviest song on the album, going for an aggressive delivery. However, the AOR fireworks start with the next song, "You Take My Heart". "Last Chance" is more of a melodic midtempo number, while "Fool" is a more hard-edged track, great hooks and excellent vocals. "Sometimes" is a jaw dropping ballad, with very smooth and clean vocals from Luke. "Superstition" is a cover of a Stevie Wonder, a departure from the AOR sound to something more groovier. "Love Is A Game" and "Sherry's On Fire" are more impressive, catchy tracks with hints of the eighties'sound. "Music Man" is the band's another big ballad, and last but not least, there's "Friends Or Lovers", another great track that reminds usof early days of AOR.Gunshy, still had a style that might have evolved into something really special, had they stuck around for a little longer
