Genesungswerk welcomes the summer quietly with this album by Marsen Jules. On Golden, guitar, piano and electronics meet for a harmonic m�nage � trois. After a winter walk they come together by the fireside, joined occasionally by organ, flute and violin. Gently crackling, the fire gets higher, kissing the cold from our ears. Acoustic guitar and piano create the melodic lines for warm electronics to shade and color. Golden is a perfect title: the sounds sparkle and glow on all seven tracks but never dazzle the listener. Everything is very intimate, very close, but at the same time bright and clear, and the beauty of the instruments creates a new light.
