In 2022, armed only with his Grimshaw semi-acoustic guitar, unamplified, Mick Hampshire (The Milkshakes, The Delmonas,The Masonics etc.) played and sang through a single microphone, and the sound was crisply collected by a mobile recording device under the direction of long-term friend Kevin Younger (The High Span, Armitage Shanks, Ye Ascoyne d'Ascoynes, etc), in a back room, the results were captured on Mick's first solo album, titled 'Mick's Cat And Rooster Blues.' Mick Hampshire follows his album release with this four-track EP, once again crisply collected by a mobile recording device under the direction of long-term friend Kevin Younger, through a single microphone.Limited to 300 copies.
