"JAMES" (trumpet played by Nils Ostendorf) and "LA TOILE" go beyond the usual pop music. "MYSTIC VAN" is something so different and thrilling, it works brilliantly with some slow songs like "HAWAII DUET" and some upbeat and all unique like the album title song "CHILD OF PARADISE". A lot of songs were written and produced in South Africa and Italy. Niobe is very well-known as a tinkering genius. She needs a long time to perfect her albums, but nevertheless every other year until 2001 she surprised us with her daringly different and intelligent, (with the added joy of moving and crystal-like) beautiful music. David Byrne made her album "White Hats" his Album of the Year in the American magazine ARTFORUM (Bestof Music 2007).
