Recorded in 1969 by an NYC-based hippie group, comprising ex-members of The Family Of Apostolic, a long lost psychedelic folk-rock gem sees its first ever vinyl release! Featuring gorgeous male and female vocals and virtuoso playing, the songs (originals mostly!) reveal influences from the British late '60s folk boom, Middle-Eastern music and traditional US genres s.a. bluegrass.

After the Family of Apostolic album, three of its key musicians – Lyn Hardy, Jay Ungar and John Townley – teamed up with bass player Peter Smith and drummer Jim Willis to form Ocean. They recorded this album in the summer of 1969 which remained unreleased until 2020. The album contains mostly original songs and it has influences which reach from old-time/bluegrass to Middle-Eastern music. This LP is taken from the only remaining reference-copy of the final mix – and it was recorded at the 12-track facility of Apostolic Studios in New York City.

Limited edition of 300 copies (handnumbered).
