"Side A is the song "Walking Backwards," a laggy, lugubrious piece of countrified weirdness, with vocals by Macaroni. And Side B, "Sad, Horny and Blue," this one with Blue at the helm, is a melancholic, sweaty acoustic number. As original as it is, this is the sort of music on which it is rather difficult to slap a label. For all intents and purposes it is probably wise to simply go with how Pork Chop Party describe their own sound: "scum bag cough medicine suicide-prevention country music" and "countrypolitan."" - James G.
