This album completes the series of unreleased recordings by Martinican clarinettist, drummer, composer, conductor Sam Castendet (1906-1993), a great emulator of Stellio, whom he replaced at the 1931 Colonial Exhibition. Sam Castendet, during of his long career, has always been considered one of the best interpreters of Creole biguine (Jean-Pierre Meunier, back of the digipack)
