A group of young girls from a remote region of Benin is shaking up the world of garage rock with breathtaking freshness, ingenuity and energy, playing spot-on, loud and clear. Formed by a local musician, this group a girls learned to play instruments and inspired by music from Miriam Makeba and Angelique Kidjo, they started to perform in their region. With the help from some European sound engineers, the band recorded their first songs. Their lyrics are written not only in French, but also in several languages spoken in northern Benin.
