The debut release from the Elevator Operators! This Brooklyn, New York based quartet, with members of the Above, deliver fourwell-crafted originals written by Matt Clarke (The Above, Quitty and The Don'ts) on this EP. Get ready for a solid dose of mid-'60s UK-style Merseybeat and mod R&B, with adash of garage rock. Glorious guitar jangle that recalls the early moments of The Kinks in particular, as well as a nod or two to the '60s popisms saturated in the early songsscribed by Roy Wood for The Move! Songs chock full of spot-on lyrics, great vocal harmonies, and top-notch musicianship, presented with a true sense and sound of rock'n'roll timelessness.
