The Groovecats Deluxe were born when Elko Blijweert (guitar), Simon Beeckaert (bass) and Jeroen Stevens (drums), aka The Groovecats, were joined by Milan Warmoeskerken on guitar in 2018. For the past two years, they have regularly awed the crowds at their many improvised-but-always-very-groovy gigs at legendary Antwerp jazz bar De Muze. "Live At De Muze", which The Groovecats Deluxe recorded at a safe distance from one another in March 2020, is their first studio album with all original compositions.
