Wonderful swinging debut record of the dutch trio THE HOT RHYTHM RAMBLERS. HUEY MOOR, ARAM STOOP and BENNY VAN ANROOY obviuosly love the vital sounds of the 1930s. Hot Jazz, Swing, Ragtime and Dixieland sounds come natural to this trio of professional musicians. They spice it up with a little bit of Rhythm n Blues, Rockabilly and Western Swing. All 12 songs are dancefloor fillers and its amazing how the trio manages to sound like a 6 piece Swing band. Ok, they have a little help from their friends JAN ALBERT SMIT, KOOS VAN DER HOUT and especially for these recordings from legendary Boogie piano player CARL SONNY LEYLAND which is a long time friend and fan of the band.
