"The Sins Of Sainte Catherine" is the 2006 debut album from Irish troubadour THE MIGHTY STEF a.k.a. Stefan Murphy. It got high-profile reviews all over the place. The NME made him "Dublins finest unsung hero", The Sunday Times described his music as "Idiosyncratic Punk Rock Sea-Shanties" .The album contains 15 songs about love, sin and adventure that rock you from the very first minute. When you hear these tunes the rhythm immediately makes you wanna dance. With his dark, powerful voice that lets you think of Nick Cave or Tom Waits, some songs like a rough night at the pub and some are for relaxed hung over day on the couch. The CD is enjoyable from the first to the last song and punches you straight into the face.
