Explore and discover The Puke on 'This Kind Of Experience Live 1978/1979.' Pronounced the bad boys of the Pittsburgh punk scene after ripping up a bible on stage, The Puke, formed in 1978, was one of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's first wave punk bands. Minimal, raw in the extreme, and darkly humorous, they were banned from playing nearly as often as they performed. The Puke consisted of Bill Bored playing the bass drum, Pat D. Hearse on guitar and vocals, and Barney Scum on guitar and vocals. Includes a hand-stamped 16-page booklet with color photos, essays by Pittsburgh DJ and writer W.T. Koltek and sole surviving band member Pat D. Hearse, plus reproductions of posters for shows and additional ephemera. Never before heard, released for the first time on vinyl! Sourced from recently surfaced cassette tapes digitally transferred and engineered by Mike Kolesar for Get Hip Recordings. For fans of The Germs, The Nuns, The Dickies, Teenage Jesus & The Jerks, and other no wave artists. "They made the Ramones sound like Emerson, Lake and Palmer." ~W.T. Koltek, Pittsburgh DJ & writer.
