In 2019 Orphax (Sietse van Erve) released a collection of 44 sketches all exactly 44 seconds long. Something he worked on in an irregular pace since 2005. After the release he asked 7 friends whose music he really likes to take part in what is up to now Moving Furniture's biggest project: '44 x 44 - Orphax Reworked'. The instructions were clear: use as sound source only the 44 sketches and make a work of 44 x 44 seconds (32:16 minutes). Now two years later here's a beautiful boxset with 8 different versions of '44 x 44' by TVO, Modelbau, Fani Konstantinidou, Machinefabriek, Jos Smolders, Elif YalvaοΏ½, Siavash Amini and Orphax himself.
