'Gorodische' is the most "folkie" album of Vedan Kolod: most of the songs are traditional songs of different parts of Russia. It also includes the main touring and performing repertoire of the group. The album is more "late-Medieval" orientated, with a lot of Russian medieval instruments which only appear on this album, before the band moved into a more experimental world music genre.
