The 70th anniversary album of the legendary Roman chamber orchestra I Musici Ensemble!
Recording location: Auditorium Of Collegio Internazionale San Lorenzo Da Brindisi, Rome, 26-29 April 2021.
This album commemorates the 70th anniversary of I Musici, who made his debut in Rome in March 1952.
This is the long-awaited new recording of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" by the ensemble that realized the first stereo recording in history.
The world-premier recording of the third act ballet music "Four Seasons" from the opera "Les Vèpres siciliennes" (I vespri siciliani) premiered in Paris in 1855, which was specially comissioned for the I Musici Ensemble, is also included, here scored for piano and strings.
