Till West has always been very passionate about music.
In the beginning of the 90s, when he heard the mixes of Julian ’Jumpin’ Perez, Ralphie Rosario, Farley ’Jackmaster’ Funk and Frankie Knuckles in Chicago on WBMX radio the damage was done and back in Germany he bought his first Technics MK1210.
He knew that he wanted to live his passion for electronic music in its full scope.
It didn’t take long until Till West played his energetic house sets at various renowned house clubs in the cologne-area (e.g. Tiefenrausch, Apollo, Teatro,...etc).
Together with DJ Delicious, his longtime schoolfriend, he released his debut single “Same Man” in January 2006 on their own Label Phunkwerk. You simply can’t deny the singles worldwide success. Two months prior to its release the single already made huge waves among DJ celebs such as Pete Tong, Eric Morillo, Arman van Helden,... and so on.
In Addition to his love for music he also uses his extraordinary feeling for trends by running his own distribution company founded in 1993 with well-known Fashion Brands like Russell Athletics, Rocawear, Southpole, Sir Benni Miles, ... .
From 2011-2013 Till West was furthermore running his own Radio Show “House-Ingredients” which was broadcasted on 20 radiostations in 10 Countries around the world. (www.house-ingredients.com)
