Under the moniker Fable Dust, guitarist, composer and filmmaker Niels Duffhues (ex-The Gathering, Enos and Blimey, now member of The Flipside Paradox and Fire Shrine) produces instrumental guitar music. His minimalist compositions have a cinematic quality in which he improvises with the themes and melodies. He is a real sound creator and uses alternate tunings, sound effects, live sampling and field recordings (from India and Vietnam). His music is direct and hypnotic and sounds like a technicolour landscape of sound.
