Alicia Bay Laurel

Alicia Bay Laurel is well known as the writer and illustrator of one of the classic books of the back-to-the-earth movement, 'Living On The Earth', which was published in 1970. In the days that she was writing her book, she also played and recorded folk music. This is a first-time vinyl version of her recordings, with new liner notes by the artist as well as English and Japanese lyrics. The LP allows listeners to (once again) hear Alicia's blues, jazz and Indian music influences meld with her folk roots to glorious effect.
