With their 3rd album the NYSJE goes back to the roots Jamaican Jazz (later called Ska!). They play music on the highest level,original compositions in the style of Bebop and Hardbop stars of the 50's and 60's, and adaptions of better and less known pieces by Horace Silver, Duke Ellengton and even Steve Cropper. All this is played with incredibly grooving Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae beats.
