4 years have passed since the last album BACK ROAD and a lot has happened. Now based in Germany, he toured Germany several times, played sidekick to Coby Grant among others, enjoyed the fact that his song Early Morning Coffee Cups (2017) was streamed well over 20 million times and started a family. Becoming a father is a life-changing experience. After my daughter was born, I reevaluated myself as a person. I became aware of my own mortality and the importance of respect, love, honesty, and self-improvement. This deep self-reflection has inspired me to write songs that are perhaps a bit darker and more profound lyrically than previous albums. This is evident in the songs This Masquerade, Catch Me If You Can, All Roads Lead To Rome and Wildfire, Jaimi says of his new situation.The album, unusually titled ALLEN KEYS & BROKEN BITS, capturesmuch of what has made Jaimi's music so far: excellent guitar playing, profound lyrics, to-the-point songwriting and plenty of heart in his voice.
