Love Derwinger
Swedish classical pianist and conductor, born on 26 August 1966.

He is educated at Musikhögskolan in Stockholm.

He debuted at the age of 16 as a soloist in Franz Liszt's Second Piano Concerto and has given concerts in Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan, the Middle East and South America and also participated in many prestigious festivals worldwide. He has been a soloist with several of the largest Scandinavian orchestras, Nieuw Sinfonietta Amsterdam, Residentie Orkest i Haag, Radio Philharmonie Hannover des NDR, Philharmonia Orchestra and others and collaborated with conductors such as Myung-Whun Chung, Jun'ichi Hirokami, Paavo Järvi, Lev Markiz, Vassily Sinaisky and Leif Segerstam. Derwinger is known for his versatility, alternating soloist assignments with chamber music, contemporary music and the lieder repertoire. As a conductor, he has performed, among other things, Morton Feldman's opera "Neither" and Mahler songs together with Barbara Hendricks and chamber ensemble.
