Nate Gibson

Nate Gibson is a musician, scholar, and archivist. His recordings have been released by Bear Family Records (Germany), Goofin' Records (Finland), Swelltune Records (USA), Cow Island Music (USA), as well as his own label. He is the author of The Starday Story: The House That Country Music Built (University Press of Mississippi), and has performed and recorded with many artists connected to the Starday Records label. Gibson currently resides in Madison, WI, co-hosts the Back to the Country radio show on WORT 89.9FM, and performs throughout the Upper Midwest.
