Stefano Pilia was born in Genoa in 1978 and lives in Bologna since 1995.
He started in the punk and rock area, by playing guitar and doublebass, and nowadays works on texture and droning sound forms by using mostly guitar, loops, field recordings and other acoustic sound sources.
Recently, he started working on sound installation projects.
