Found Recordings

You could say that Found Recordings is in the treasure hunting business, with a mission to uncover \“lost\” recordings and bring them to the world. This vision was born when Scott Blum unearthed boxes of unreleased live recordings from the Seattle music scene in the 90’s and decided that they must be shared with the world. The label launched with a joint venture between Scott Blum and Jerry Everard, the owner of Seattle’s legendary music club, MOE, to release these historical recordings. Starting with a live recording from Seattle punk legends 7 Year Bitch, Scott went on to discover a previously unreleased studio album from Seattle grunge pioneers Gruntruck, and resurrected the album for a launch date in October of 2017. Though the projects so far have focused largely on the 90’s music scene in Seattle, there is potential for hidden gems, old and new, to be uncovered from anywhere. The future is wide open.
