JAZZLAND

New York jazz label established in 1960 by Bill Grauer and Orrin Keepnews as a companion to their Riverside Records label. Originally an outlet for Riverside reissues, its focus was soon shifted to new recordings (particulary material by Cannonball Adderly).

Bought along with the parent Riverside label by Fantasy in 1972.
